It is required to develop a system to actively monitor the health of a central server. The central server is responsible for monitoring the health of patients in the ICU in hospitals. The proposed system is responsible for detecting if and when the server experiences faults or failure. In case, of a failure, the system is responsible for switching to a standby server. The system is also responsible for keeping records of all the reading of the vital signs. In case of the loss of a life, the system will report immediately to the insurance company, to the doctors office and to the nurses office
