Uber is a ride sharing service that has now expanded internationally. It uses its own smartphone application to connect passengers with drivers of vehicles for hire. Clients use the app to request rides and track their reserved vehicles location. When an individual requests a ride, the allocated drivers location will be available to track. The individual will be texted when their ride arrives and the drivers name and details will appear in the app. Uber uses a feedback system whereby the clients feedback is recorded. This allows them to meet the specific needs of the client next time they use the service. Fares are charged automatically to the riders credit card.
