Continue to Assess Individual Representative Performance (Stacked Bar Charts)
On the Detail by Rep worksheet. Youll notice we have data for three categories of performance
(knowledge, courtesy, service) with a count of responses at each score level. We also have a blank
section to the right which indicates a percentage of responses by score.
a) Your first task is to fill out the percentage section. You want to see the percent of responses that
each score (1-5) makes up of the total responses for each sales representative. For example,
employee B20018s had 16 total responses on the knowledge score, so their %s by rating are:
i.0% for Score=1(=0/16)
ii.25% for Score=2(=4/16), in other words, 25% of respondents assigned a rating of 2
iii. 25% for Score=3(=4/16)
iv.25% for Score=4(=4/16)
v.25% for Score=5(=4/16).
You are dividing the # of responses at each score level by the total responses for that rep.
Each rep has a different number of responses.
Think about how you can do this efficiently using a mixed cell reference. You will do this three
times once for the knowledge section, another for the courtesy section, and finally for the service
section. If you write the formula appropriately, you can copy and paste it into all the gray cells on
this worksheet without any modification! Huge time savings
