The Stuxnet worm which was launched in 2009 targeted five industrial facilities in Iran and caused a temporary shutdown of Iran's nuclear program by infecting the computers which controlled the centrifuges processing the uranium. It is now widely accepted that Stuxnet was created by the intelligence agencies of the United States and Israel. However, these two countries have not officially admitted to their involvement in launching the Stuxnet worm.
