Assignment Background: In Chapter 6 (in class and in the textbook) you studied the recruitment process, interview questions and pre-employment testing. The purpose of this assignment is to put this
theory into practice.
Assignment Details:
Your recruiting methods have been successful and you have lots of excellent candidates for your position. You now need to conduct an interview! For this assignment you will write a script for an interview that will help you to find the person who is the best fit for this job. You will also outline at least one form of pre-employment testing you will implement.
There are 2 parts to this assignment.
In Part 1 you will identify 5 interview questions you will ask the candidate. Each question must be directly related to either an essential function that they will perform in the job or a skill they must have. Refer back to your job description: all five questions must relate to either specific job knowledge from your Essential Functions and/or Job Specifications section of your Job Description assignment.
In Part 2 describe one form of pre-employment testing you will use. Explain which form of testing you will use and detail why this form of pre-employment testing will be used to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the test and WHY it should be used (it must be VALID and RELIABLE and related directly to the job!).
