Create a drawing or mixed media piece while listening to music. The artwork should reflect the rhythms and emotions of the music.  

• set up your favorite piece of music 
• use lines and dots - do not use recognizable symbols (like a treble clef)
• When you are ready play the music 
• Draw as you listen.  Let the music guide your hand.  The freer you are the better your drawing will be.
• When you are done, record the song title, the musician and sign your work at the bottom. 
• Write brief notes about what you noticed about the rhythm of the work.  Tell something about the experience that includes feelings and emotions while working on your drawing.
