a$.$ Click the Transactions sheet tab and select and name cells A$4$:D$29$ as Stats.

b$.$ Click the Transactions Stats sheet tab.

c$.$ Click cell B$16$ and type Springfield.

d$.$ Click cell C$16,$ start an INDEX function, and select the first argument list option.

e$.$ Choose or type the Stats range name for the Array argument.

f$.$ Click the Row$\_$num box and nest an XMATCH function. Type XMATCH$($ as the row$\_$num argument in the Formula Builder.

g$.$ Select cell B$16$ for the Lookup$\_$value. Type a comma $(,)$ in the Formula bar after the B$16$ cell reference to open the XMATCH function arguments in the Formula Builder. Click in the Lookup$\_$array box and select cells A$4$:A$29$ on the Transactions sheet for the Lookup$\_$array.

h$.$ Add a comma $(,)$ in the formula bar after the XMATCH function to return to the INDEX function. Click the Column$\_$num box in the INDEX function.

i$.$ Nest a second XMATCH function to look up cell C$15$ in the lookup$\_$array A$4$:D$4$ on thetransactions sheet.

j$.$ Type $)$ to end the INDEX function in the Formula bar. The preview result in the Formula Builder is #N$/$A $($Figure $6-113).$

k$.$ Click Done.
