Create a schedule using MS Project for the following scenario: assume that you own a business and 3 of your key managers have just informed you that they are leaving (to start a business together!). They gave you a 2-week notice. In the next 2 weeks, you have to do your best to find replacement for all 3 key managers, which entails retaining an executive search agency to find and pre-screen candidates for you, prepare job descriptions in collaboration with your HR Department and the executive search agency, prepare a new compensation package for the 3 hires, and 2 rounds of interviews with each hire.
Create a subdeliverble/workpackage for each deliverable as appropriate, and a few tasks for each work package. Aim for 20-25 deliverables + tasks in total. Some of these deliverables cant be started until others are finished. We call these dependency relationships. As you build your schedule, identify 3 logical dependency relationships using MS Project. In MS Project, these dependencies are depicted using the predecessors column.
In addition, assume you have a team of 3-5 people. Create a Resource Sheet using fictitious names or job roles, and assign these people to all the activities in the schedule.
