Task:

  1. Part 1: Using the 237 Active Verb list, write at least 40 true things about yourself starting each with a bullet followed by an active verb. They can be about your job, skills, education, volunteer, etc. For example:
  • Assessed customer concerns
  • Revised policies regarding overtime hours
  • Spearheaded fundraising campaign for Winter Warmth project
  • Trained new staff members on the POS system
  • Operated heavy machinery including forklifts, bobcats, and tractors

  1. Part 2: List the jobs you have had including the job title, company, location, and dates. Put 4 or 5 related bullet points from your list under each.
  2. Part 3: List educational institutions you have attended including its name, location, dates attended (expected graduation date), major, and diploma or degree. Put 4 or 5 bullets of accomplishments or material studied under each **if applicable**.
  3. Part 4: Create other logical categories for the other bullet points on your list: communication skills, computer skills, management skills, leadership skills, volunteer experience, personal interests, life skills, certifications, awards, etc. with 4 or 5 bullet points in each cluster.

Notes:

Right now you do not need to worry about formatting the document. We are just trying to brainstorm all the material to complete upcoming assignments. (You can use the tables Ive included below if that is easier for you.)
