Creativity and innovation look different across different teams, but generally have the same goal - to make the team more productive. In my experience as management, the teams hold the most information as to what processes can be improved upon and how this will increase productivity, not upper management or executives who don't understand or work the daily processes. Sometimes processes, while maybe not the most efficient or straightforward, aren't "broken" and the time it would take to revamp
