Scenario

Your company, JJ & Co, is planning to setup a new online platform that will allow customers to upload pictures that can be made into jigsaw puzzles. You have been appointed as the Project Manager for the online jigsaw system project.

Your project is expected to start on 1 Mar 2022 and go live on 1 Aug 2022. Your project team includes 1 System Analyst, 2 Analyst Programmers, 1 System Engineer and 1 User Representative. The team reports to the IT Director. You just had your first team meeting recently to kick-off the project.

Appendix A - Transcript of Online Project Team Meeting

System Analyst (SA), Patty	We will use the standard Waterfall methodology for this project i.e. Plan, Analysis, Design, Development, Test and Implementation.
Project Manager (PM), you	I will be able to complete the project management plan in 3 days. Bob, you will be working closely with me. For the signoff at every phase, only the both of us will be required.

System Analyst (SA), Patty	Linda, you will be in charge of the website and customer module and Dylan you be handling the billing module. All 3 of us will be involved in gathering business requirements which should take a week followed by another week to complete the User Requirement Specs. I will review the specs with Bob and that should take 4 days.
Analyst Programmer (AP1), Linda	OK, I should be able to complete a prototype in 3 days. Reviewing the prototype with Bob should take 2 days.
System Analyst (SA), Patty	Once the analysis phase is done, we can start on the design phase. I will be handling the database design personally and should take one week to complete it. Linda, you can start with the website design once I am done.
Analyst Programmer (AP1), Linda	The website design will take 3 days.
System Analyst (SA), Patty	For the development phase, Ron will take one week to setup development server. I will be doing the coding for the admin module. This will take 24 days.

Analyst Programmer (AP1), Linda	Coding for the website should take 18 days and coding for the customer module should take 20 days.
Analyst Programmer (AP2), Dylan	Coding for the billing module will take 44 days.
Project Manager (PM), you	We will need to factor in an additional week for unit testing for each module. Once that is completed, we can move on to integration test which should take 2 weeks. Lastly, we will need to conduct the user acceptance test, which should take another 2 weeks. Ron, during this period, can you also create some test scripts to do a load test and a stress test?
System Engineer (SE), Ron	No problem boss, by the way, once the testing is completed, I will need a week to setup the live servers before we do the cutover.
System Analyst (SA), Patty	I will be conducting the user training over 3 days.
Project Manager (PM), you	Once the system goes live, let monitor it for one week.
User Representative (UR), Bob	Do not forget the user manuals, please make sure they are ready before the system goes live.
