DECISION SCIENCE DATA ANALYSIS: INTERIM REPORT via ORAL ASSESSMENT (Please refer to the guideline for your group project "Data Analysis Project Report") Assessment of this report is via ORAL explanation by each group member (interview). The assessment schedule will be in Week 9 and 10, and the exact dates will be announced later. NO submission is required, but you must show me the draft and detailed computations for the analysis made during the assessment. NO replacement slot will be given to groups that missed the scheduled session without a valid reason. This interim report is a partial (progress) report of your group project report on Data Analysis. The assessment will be related, but not limited, to the following: 1) Research Objectives; to give an explanation of the objective(s) and focus of the analysis. 2) Data: to give a brief description of the chosen data analysed. 3) For each of the techniques used in the analysis, a. Explain the reasons for using the chosen techniques for the analysis. Why are the techniques deemed appropriate to achieve your research objectives? Why not using other techniques discussed in the same chapter? b. Provide detailed computations involved in applying the techniques. c. Explain or interpret essential parts of the computations. d. Conclude based on the results given by each technique. 4) Questions will also be asked about the important concepts of the chosen techniques. Note: 1) You are welcome to submit Peer Assessment form to penalise non-performing members of the group if any. 2) The format of this interim report is NOT the same as the format for the final Group Project report.
