Description

In this course you will be required to submit two reflective writing journal entries. You may pick the topic for your journal entry from any of the topics we have covered in class. Your reflection can be about an article$/$video$/$publication you have found online or about a personal experience. If it is an article, you may focus on only one idea or quote in it$.$ You do not have to write about the entire article.

You must link your personal experiences or research to the topic you selected. You are required to substantiate your entries with details and$/$or examples. Use the following headings as you complete your entry. Each heading has questions to assist you.

Objective

State whether you are writing about an article$/$video$/$publication OR a personal experience. Summarize the idea$/$personal experience. What is the idea or story about? What caught your attention?

Reflective

Why did you choose this idea or personal experience? How do you identify with it$?$ How does it relate to our class discussions?

Interpretive

What does it mean to you? What insights did you get from the idea or personal experience? How has your thinking changed by Reflecting on this idea or experience?
