Design and complete your own LCA study

In this assignment you will complete your own LCA study:

$1.$ Choose a study question to be answered through a LCA. It can be for instance a comparative study between some different items or processes, or a study on some parameters of a single item or process. Argument your selection of study topic and define the topic, goal, boundary, functional unit. Select your analytical tool $($openLCA$,$ you can use the same method as in chicken pasta, or you can select some other if you justify the choice$).$ Select the impact categories of interest and justify them with the study question.

$2.$ Draw a life cycle map from your system. Collect all relevant inputs and outputs of mass and energy that you find are relevant to the study.

$3.$ Complete a LCA project with openLCA using your life cycle map as a blueprint and selecting the evaluation method and impact categories based on your study question.

$4.$ Document your project in a word document containing an introduction to the study $($with topic, goal, boundary, functional unit, description of the method used, and impact categories chosen$),$ a short method chapter, results with the life cycle map and report from the results from openLCA, and conclusions.$\text{'}$
