Current Issues at Rai Culinary Art:

The CHRO has heard many complaints from restaurant staff as well as the management team. The leadership was excited about the restaurant$$s concept and launch of the vision$/$mission$,$ however, staff feel like they are not aligned internally based on the culture of the restaurant. The staff find the restaurant not to have the same spark$/$creativity that they used to when they first opened up$,$ and now find the concept$/$culture to be boring, repetitive and unauthentic.

The CHRO has hired you to help her. Along with the major issues above, there is a lot of work ahead to rebuild the talent management strategy to change the culture and invest in employees. As of right now, most decisions are made by the $2$ CEOs who are also the founders $$ Raveena and her husband. They are so focused on the reputation of the restaurant externally, that they haven$$t spent much time focusing on some of the internal challenges. The CHRO has tried many times to convince Raveena and the rest of the leadership team, however, has had no luck. The CHRO has also identified the following issues:

$$ Promotions don$$t seem to make sense $$ it is unclear as to how the organization is moving people into roles and making these decisions

$$ There is no training plan $$ everything is done ad hoc by each Manager$/$Leader

$$ There is no career development plan

$$ Scores from the recent engagement survey were very low and overall morale is weak

$$ While the restaurant has had loyal employees since its opening in $2023,$ it is expecting that they will likely lose some employees soon.
