DHCP Configuration on Routers

Router$1$:

Create a DHCP pool for the $10\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0/16$ subnet $($IP range: $10\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}2-10\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}255\mathrm{.}254).$

Set the default router for the DHCP pool.

Configure a DHCP exclusion range for the first $10$ IP addresses in the $10\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0/16$ network.

Add a static route with this command:

Router$($config$)$# ip route $0\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}00\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0$ g$0/0/2$

Router$2$:

Create a DHCP pool for the $10\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0/16$ subnet $($IP range: $10\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}2-10\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}255\mathrm{.}254).$

Set the default router for the DHCP pool.

Configure a DHCP exclusion range for the first $10$ IP addresses in the $10\mathrm{.}1\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0/16$ network.

Add a static route with this command:

Router$($config$)$# ip route $0\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}00$:$0\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0$ g$0/0/2$

Assigning IP Addresses to PCs

PC$1,$ PC$2($Connected to SW$-1)$:

Assign static IP addresses from the provided IP Addressing Table.

PC$3,$ PC$4($Connected to SW$-2)$:

Obtains DHCP$-$assigned IP addresses from Router$1.$

PC$5,$ PC$6($Connected to SW$-3)$:

Assign static IP addresses from the provided IP Addressing Table.

PC$7,$ PC$8($Connected to SW$-4)$:

Obtains DHCP$-$assigned IP addresses from Router$2.$
