Instead of employees, consider students, and instead of management, use faculty. For example, member identity refers to the degree to which students identify with the school as a whole rather than their major, program, clubs, etc. Rate the culture of our university in the 10 dimensions by answering the following questions: What dimensions were easy to evaluate and which were not and why? How strong is the culture of NJCU? What functions does the culture serve for the school? Do you think the culture of our university is best suited to maximizing your learning? Why or why not? What kind of projects would be easy to implement in our school and which would be difficult given the structure and culture of NJCU. Explain your answer.
Discussion (2): In response to Covid-19, many (if not most) industries elected to have their employees work from home if possible. Many believe that what was intended to be a temporary solution, may turn into a permanent shift in the workspace. Working from home and digital solutions may become the "new norm" in a post-Covid world. I want you to think of employers keeping their employees at home as the project. This was an initiative that took much planning, contingency planning, implementation, etc. I then want you to envision a time when employers begin transitioning their employees back to the traditional workplace. In a cohesive response, explain what employers should be considering with returning their employees back to work and what difficulties could arise if they do. Your responses can be broad and encompass different types of factors such as: fiscal and business impacts to the employer health and wellness of employees communication and execution issues logistical impacts, etc. These are only a few factors.
