Do you agree with this analysis why or why not ?

I do believe that we as people are the only ones that can make a change, but we have to want it and work for it. With everything going on in the world and all that has happened and is happening, we only have each other. We all deserve better and need better, but it does start with us. We could use help from the government and to some extent there is help by them, but of course we could always use more. I had read an article one time and it was about an African American gentlemen who returned back to his old neighborhood and realizing how much it changed. Crime was high, houses were deteriorating, gangs were running the streets, and the most important thing to him he realized was of how people were not outside, hanging out like they use to. He went on saying there were also people who were no longer living that use to sit outside their front porches and they kind of watched the neighborhood and ever since they passed that is when the neighborhood went downhill. The moral of the story was there was no longer a provider, stability, and people don't have that guidance to do better or show how things need to be done. I do think that happens in every race, but because of that there is no one to teach right from wrong. It starts with us to show our children what is right and what is wrong and people are all the same, whether it is the color of our skin, race, ethnicity, work, etc.
