Do you agree with this discussion and write your own words After our class discussion, I can see that SWOT analysis is an essential and helpful tool for business decision-making. SWOT analysis can give an overview of the state of a business as well as it can help identify the internal and external factors affecting the business. There is some reason why organizations should employ this strategic framework. SWOT analysis helps business to understand their business status quo, such as what are their strengths that should be exploited and what are their weaknesses that should be improved. By doing this, organization can identify opportunities for growth, competing with its competitors or fixing any faults in its operation. According to "Business Queensland ", an example of a SWOT analysis conducted by a business trying to decide if they should introduce a new product to their range. Rather than simply list 'competitors' as a threat, specific details about how competitors are a threat have been included, for example, competitors have a similar product or opening shop nearby (Business Queensland, 2022).

According to a SWOT analysis of Tesla Inc, I believe Tesla is pioneer in the electronic car industry that is one of the most advantageous of Tesla. Therefore, Menon (2024) shared that Tesla's strategy is focus on eye-catching design, along with energy efficiency and a good customer experience. With the strength of leadership in battery technology and sustainable energy solutions, it provides opportunities for Tesla to futher innovate in battery technology and increased demand for energy storage solutions(Menon, 2024). Overall, in my point of view, Tesla should pursue strategic direction that invest in R&D for next-generation batteries while the world is gradually shifting to environmentally friendly automobiles (Menon, 2024).
