Draft a descriptive paper that identifies and examines two types of intentional torts against a person (one that causes injury to a person) in your jurisdiction (state or locality). Be sure to specifically identify all of the necessary elements associated with each of the two torts you select. In doing so, your description should clearly demonstrate how each tort you selected qualifies as an "intentional tort against a person," as opposed to another type of tort.
Also, provide the statutory and/or case authority associated with each of your tort examples. Each legal authority must be properly cited per the Bluebook. Keep in mind that most tort law is derivative of statutory law. Make sure that the law that you identify is a civil cause of action (tort law) and not a criminal cause of action. The criminal equivalent of a tort cause of action will be found in the penal code.
