The rate per hour for skilled and semi-skilled workers are RM17 and RM12 respectively. (iii) Rate per unit for each product produced are as follows: RM First 50 1.50 51-100 1.70 101-150 1.80 151-200 1.90 201-250 2.00 2.51-300 2.20 >300 2.50 (iv) Time allowed for each unit of product is 0.2 hours. A bonus of 25% premium on hourly rate will be given to skilled employee. (v) Overtime will be paid to all employee at a rate of one and half time of hourly rate for the overtime hours. (vi) Basic payment for skilled workers is based on hourly rate and semi-skilled workers is based on unit produced. Required: (a) Calculate the basic pay for skilled labour. (b) Determine the basic pay for each of the semi-skilled labour. (c) Illustrate the calculation for bonus payment for each of skilled employees. (d) Compute the overtime payment for all the employees. (e) Show the computation of gross wages for all the employees in March 2021.
