She asked the receptionist, Rebecca, first thing at 9:00 a.m. to call the courier to pick up the package and deliver it to the courthouse before noon. Georgia provided Rebecca with the client's information so that the charge could be added to their account. Before leaving, Georgia stressed the importance that the document needed to be at the courthouse before noon. On the package, the word "RUSH" was written in big red letters. Around 10:00 a.m., Georgia went to check with the receptionist to ensure that she had called for pickup. Rebecca was on break, and the replacement clerk could not answer the question. Georgia got busy with other files and did not check again until 11:45 a.m. When Georgia went to the front, Rebecca was on the computer, and Georgia noticed that she was on Facebook.
