Exercise Title: Building Leadership Competency Models

Purpose: To give students insight and practice in understanding and building leadership competency models.

Directions: Each student should:

$1.$ select a company of the attached article on building leadership development skills

$2.$ list the leadership qualities they believe are important for success in a leadership position, and should also clearly define what they mean by each of their qualities. $($In other words, if they say visioning is an important quality, they should say what specifically they mean by visioning.$)$

$3.$ Complete the worksheet and then review how the organization you have selected could use the competency model, and then discuss the advantages and disadvantages of their approach to developing leaders.

$4.$ Submit your completed worksheet in the Module $3$ Assignment submission box.
