The problem is that 20 of them are the wrong words-they don't mean what the writer intended. Can you solve the puzzle by supplying the right words? From the Avro Arrow to the Canadarm, Canadian scientists have lead the world in the devel- opment of knevy technologies, Recently, scientists at the National Research Counsel in Ottawa invented a type of gun that Would simulate the affects of dangerous collisions between birds and aircraft in order to develop crash-proof windshields. The gun fired dead chickens at high velocity at stationery airplanes, ensuring the windscreen material was strong enough to avoid a catastrophic accident. When NASA, who's scientists where in the final stages of developing a high-speed train for the American Amtrak system, heard about the Canadian invention, its researchers were quiet impressed. They complemented the NRC team on their invention and asked to boOw the device so they could measure the impact of a bird's hitting a train when it's speed was approaching 300 km/h. Latter, when NASA personal conduced the experiment, they were astonished to see the chicken shatter they're windscreen, smash threw the control panel, brake the driver's seat into peaces, and embed itself in the wall of the cockpit. Hori- fied, NASA scientists contacted the NRC with they're results and asked weather there Canadian counterparts could advice them why their experiment had produced results so different from the Canadian tests.
