Reorganizations, space changes, and house cleaning frequently result in the identification of property that is no longer needed. This property includes such excess items as wooden or metal files boxes, wooden, plastic, or metal letter trays; hanging file frames with folders; and unused office supplies such as bond paper, copier paper, and boxes of pens and pencils. Excess property much be sent to the Property Management Section. However, only reusable items should be sent--not those that have been damaged. This new policy can help our office save money and be kind to the environment.
