In powder metallurgy, there are a few methods to produce powder such as atomization, chemical and

electrolytic. For atomization, there are three methods, as shown in Figure $1.$

a$)$ Identify each of the atomization processes.

b$)$ Explain how an atomization process is carried out.

c$)$ Discuss the differences and criteria of powder produced through the atomization processes in Figure $1.$

d$)$ Conventional pressing and sintering processes are commonly applied on powder produced by the atomization processes. Elaborate the three main steps in such conventional processes.
