Final Paper Part Project Scope and PERT Diagram
Project: Fundraiser for Changing the Laws and Punishments for Child Sexual Assault in India
The project's major goal is to raise awareness, motivate people to give, and provide meals at the end of the tournament. As a result, the three key activity areas we must concentrate on are Adv. Jaising's speech, which would enlighten and urge people to give and raise awareness, the collecting of donations, and the organisation of a successful supper buffet for all attendees. Our contribution collecting goal is Rs. 200,000. (2 Lakhs).
Deliverables:
There are five key professionals, including Adv., who are in charge of arranging all of this. Indira Should such and I are a couple. Adv. For decades, Jaising has advocated for women's and children's rights, and he now has a highly valued and recognised role in The country (Women Economic Forum, 2014). We intend to hold the event in a matter of weeks, which means we only have four weeks to arrange everything from the ground up. Booking a venue, hiring caterers (and agreeing on a menu), publicizing and making a campaign link, ensuring sanitation in accordance with COVID guidelines, and building up a platform, loudspeakers, microphone, and other equipment are the priority features we need to concentrate on. Each of the five of us will be in charge of one of the project's five sections. Each of the five of us will be in charge of one of the project's five sections. Aside from that, we'll need about 5 additional volunteers that are eager to attend this event because they have sympathies for the cause and are passionate about it. Around 200 people are expected to attend. We will only invite persons whom know Adv. Indira Jaising, relatives and friends, and possible donor businesses due to the present covid condition in the nation.
Milestones:
We set aside one month for the event's flawless preparation and implementation. The occasion consists of a speech followed by a supper party. As a result, the following milestones will be established for the satisfactory completing:
Ten days to book the hall, caterers, PPE and equipment, speakers, etc. Each of these items will need a different book, thus the first ten days of the site's beginning (1/3rd of the overall project period) should suffice.
15 days to send out invites to guests and helpers Some other important phase in the initiative is to publicise the event and invite possible funders. Because we can't send traditional invites like flyers in the digital age, we should make effective use of media platforms. We also need 5 participants, so we'll advertise for them on social media once again. Applications to the party would be sent via social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Emails is being used to send out the final number of guests and RSVPs. People do take time to reply, therefore isolating a 5-day period from a 10-day period is possible.
Day 20: Verifying the invitations and volunteers. By day 20, visitors and volunteers would have received their RSVPs and confirmations. That would have been a huge win in terms of the developer's timing.
On day 30, ultimate preparations 1 hour just before event Prior to our event, the halls reserved for meetings are generally in use by other parties. As a result, we won't be able to make plans for our event until an hour before it starts. The event will start at 6 p.m. As a result, our goal is to get the stage, microphone, chairs, cuisine, and PPE set up by 6 p.m., with the aid of supporters who will arrive by 5 p.m., because that Adv. Indira Jaising's address can start at 6:30 p.m. The activity can last for four hours (till 10pm).
Technology:
Although there isn't a lot of science used in this event, we can't say there isn't any. Also because of innovation was it feasible to send out invites via media platforms and get people to RSVP discreetly without touching even during risk of COVID 19 spreading. This equipment also includes the microphones and speakers we'll be using.
Limits and exclusions:
WBS:
The main activities that this budget will serve would be:
Booking a hall
Caterers (and deciding the menu)
Advertising and creating fundraiser link
Providing sanitation under COVID protocols and
Setting up the stage, speakers, mic., etc.
Team coordination
Backup (Budget Rs 10,000)
PERT:
Budget:
The program has a costing of Rs. 50,000. Lawyer Collaborative, founded by Adv. Indira Jaising, has consented to support the event. Furthermore, we have set aside Rs. 10,000 as a contingency fund in case of disasters or error.
Risk Management:
Of course, just like any other endeavour, there may be some issues in this one. The environment (since rain in Delhi is incredibly volatile), Covid conviction rates (which might result in a lockdown), or even a problem with the hall rental, presenters, or food are the most important considerations. There must be a backup option for anything and everything, therefore we each paid Rs. 2000 to compensate for a Rs 10,000 contingency fund. We can share it between yourselves unless anything goes horribly wrong.
Communication:
Discovering Adv. However can and her business was a huge opportunity that came my way through a mutual friend. I chatted with Adv. Jaising through Skype and we worked out the details of the event. The ideal correspondence was to share data and the strategy to all five team members as well as the individuals we employ. In addition, catching up via Skype conversations on the anniversaries of each achievement is taken into account. For simpler and faster connection, Instagram and texts and calls are also used. Attendees would indeed be contacted by social networking sites message and then via email once they have RSVPed.
Cost and Control:
The primary expense we have is for the event reservations. We'll look for combination packages that contain more than two items, such as a venue and caterer, or a hall and stage Plus mic and speaker, and so on. If we are willing to keep within our budget, we will be able to donate the remainder of our funds, as well as any profits, to the fundraiser. We need to raise Rs. 2 lakhs to meet our goal. We would like to ask that each visitor give at least Rs. 1000. Additionally, the fundraising link would be emailed to participants along with a welcome you email, allowing us to raise money from a larger number of individuals.
Project Closing, Feedback and Conclusion:
At the conclusion of the day, the project's goal is to encourage participants to publicise and share what they've learned. POCSO enables for swift justice and trials that are infant (YouTube, 2020). We'll also send thank you letters to all participants, along with the campaign link so they may share it with their friends. We'll also seek input on whether they appreciated the event's organisation and objective, as well as what might be done much better. We would go to the designated institution for children who are exposed assault and contribute all of our proceeds once the payments achieve the campaign objective (Rs. 200,000).
