for the Hypothesis Testing Case Problem: PAR Inc. in a substantive manner respond to the below, and provide information that they may have missed or may not have considered regarding the application of hypothesis testing in business and economics. Do you agree with their conclusions? Why or why not? Based on the hypothesis testing conclusion, Par Inc should reconsider releasing the new golf bars and what they plan on advertising them as. After conducting a t-test with 2 samples assuming the variances are unequal using the data collected from the driving distances from 40 new and current balls, it has been observed that the null hypothesis cannot be rejected. With the null hypothesis not being rejected, it is assumed there is no significant difference between the the two different golf ball designs. In the managerial report, we collect information from both groups including the mean, variances, observations and p-value. It is noted that the p-value is greater than the significant level, which means there is not enough confidence to move forth with rejecting the null hypothesis. Not rejecting it also means there is insufficient evidence to conclude the new golf ball design does what the company advertises it as. It is best that the company does not release the newly designed golf balls to prevent hurting their reputation as a brand. Instead, it is best they move forward with new ideas and continue testing their hypothesis to ensure their products bring in the results they market to the public
