1. Replacement tires for ten Ford F-150 super duty trucks that are driven mainly on dirt roads (off highway). These need to be installed in four weeks (or less) from the due date for this assignment.
2. 1000 T-shirts (with the company logo printed on them) that will be used for a promotion.
3. 2700 A manufactured parts (your item # 22x23, you suppliers number XCV345, Blueprint/Engineering design # D9876) that will be assembled with other parts to complete products that your company is selling. For this item, describe

   2. What you would need to communicate to a new supplier for a complete specification.

Then use the method(s) to create a specification for each of these three products. Performance or function specification in combination with a request for proposal (RFP) is employed to a considerable extent, partly because it puts the responsibility for a satisfactory product or service back on the seller.
