For this assignment each student will create a preliminary project plan for a hypothetical IT project of their own choosing. The project plan must include the following elements: Scope statement: not more than two paragraphs describing the project, including performance specifications (if appropriate) and limits and exclusions Work Breakdown Structure: at least ten (10) individual tasks or activities that must be successfully completed Estimated project duration (number of days) Gantt chart using GanttProject software (.gan file) Estimated project cost, using bottoms-up estimating techniques Risk management plan: at least six (6) possible risks with additional details as described in the Risk Response matrix presented in class (Response, Contingency Plan, Trigger)
