For this stage you need to identify a work team objective and explain how it fits the organisational strategy. You will also need to collect and analyse information that will support this team objective. You can use Appendix A to assist you in your planning. For those who have access to a workplace, use a current objective that you and your team has. It cannot be a task or objective that can be completed alone. Rather, it should be something the team needs to accomplish together. As part of your preparation, collect and analyse information that will help you complete this task, you will need to submit evidence of the information you have collected as part of your submission. Further, you need to outline the strategy for your team. This could be a short term strategy, over several months, a medium term strategy, over the next year, or a long term strategy, five or more years into the future. If you do not have access to a workplace, use the scenario provided in Appendix B.
