Fridgety is a Uk technology company which is developing an app which allows users to track the amount of food in their fridges and order automatically once items have decreased below a certain amount. Having had one of its patents approved by the Patent Office, a competitor under the name of Fidgety creates a similar app with the same purpose. At the same time, one of Fridgety's app users, Ricky, is repeatedly being called by representatives of Really Fresh, a Fridgety's partner company, to sell ready-made meals. When Ricky ask for his details to be removed, he is told that by agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Fridgety's app, he has consented to have his details shared and hence there is nothing he can do unless he deletes the app from his phone.
