From Genesis 2:5-25 onward it changes perspective from the same story told in Genesis 1-2:4. While Genesis 1-2:4 doesnt use any names for God. In Genesis 2:5 it starts going into more depth and uses a name for God. God was only referred to as God previously in Genesis 1 but now has a name, Yahweh in Genesis 2:5. Another way it changes in style is by explaining in more detail what happened. For example, in Genesis 1:27 it says, God created man in the image of himself, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them. However, in Genesis 2:22 it states that Yahweh God fashioned the rib he had taken from the man into a woman, and brought her to the man. Both recall the same instance, Gods creation of man and woman. However, In Genesis 1 it is described as an instant action being completed in a day, both man and woman created together. In Genesis 2, the creation of man and woman has more of a plot. Man is first created then when God tries to find him a helper, God creates woman from one of mans ribs. A change in perspective also occurs. Both are in past tense , in Genesis 2:4 it ends by stating Such was the story of heaven and earth as they were created. Simply giving a recap of how it was created. But, in Genesis 2:24 it states This is why a man leaves his father and mother and becomes attached to his wife. In the first part of Genesis Parents were never mentioned nor the idea of marriage. These call backs to the present were not in Genesis 1-2:4 only stating that this is the story of how heaven and earth were created.
