Part 1:

This first part is a reflective activity which requires you to critically examine a leadership scenario (single critical incident, dilemma or challenge which you have identified and reflected on throughout your career journey). During this reflection you are required to consider:

• How the role and nature of the organization affected the leadership approach.
• What knowledge, skills and behaviors were required.

How the response could have been improved.

Part 2:

From the above reflection identify 3 key skills that you feel are key in developing your leadership (for example teamwork, EI, developing trust, understanding power). Critically discuss these skills using literature to support your discussion and identify a plan to develop your own skills in relation to these skills over the next 12 months. Your plan must include SMART objectives.
