Part 1: Describe For this case I will be examining an instance of positive punishment. From our lesson, "positive punishment applies an unpleasant stimulus with the end result of decreasing the frequency of undesirable behavior." (The Pennsylvania State University, 2024). During the time of this incident, I was an office manager for a pediatrician office which was part of a hospital group. As the office manager, some of my tasks include interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and terminating employees. I had two Medical Assistants (MAs) working for me that didn't get along; they seemed to get along when they first met and for the entirety of their working relationship until a few weeks prior to the incident.
