So$,$ the court system as designed by the framers of the Constitution is a three tier system. The State court system mirrors the Federal court system. Your first assignment is to draw the Federal court structure.

Draw a rectangular box at the left margin at the bottom of the page. Then drawa vertical line center and upward at the top middle of the box. The line should be two fingertips long.

Draw a second rectangular box the same length and width of the first. The vertical line should connect to the bottom center of center of the new box. It should be the same length as the last.

Draw a third rectangle similar to the other two. Then draw a broken vertical line between the second and third rectangular box.

Now repeat steps one and two at the same level on the right margin of your paper. Draw a solid vertical line upward mid box connecting box two and three. This is the State court
