hello i need help with this practice question:

my book says:

A researcher wanted to test a how well people can remember words wit diffrent strategies. A researcher asked a group of people to learn a list of silly words he made. first he asked them to look at the words and count the number of vowels in them one time. after that he asked tha group of ppl to recall back the words on the list. then finally he showed them the same list of silly words, but dis tyme he asked them to to draw a picture of what the words made them think of in they heads. after they drew the picture he asked them again to recall back the words from the list.

so here are the answers i got. can anyone check my answers?

  1. what are the independent variables. I say the recalling of the words. because i don't see any other thing they can manipulate.
  2. what are the dependent variables? I say the number of words they say or recall?
  3. how many conditions is there? I say 2 conditions ( the vowel thing, the draw the picture things)
  4. what statistical test would be used for data analysis? ( i feel like an a nova? )
