Although this digital new way of the world was coming, there were still some reservations about the technology. The World Economic Forum (2018) mentions that "technological risks such as cyberattacks and data fraud rank among the top five global risks besides environmental risks. In addition to financial losses and damage to reputation, the consequences of confidential personal data following into the wrong hands in the event of a hacking attempt are dire". (Hoe, 2019, p.56).

The five disciplines of the learning organization had to move at a very fast pace when the pandemic hit and continued for a number of years. "The main idea involves bringing together different parts of the organization to see things as a whole for growth. It is associated with five key disciplines or characteristics, namely, personal mastery, mental models, shared vision, team learning and systems thinking. Personal mastery refers to the improvements of one's competencies. Mental models are the basic assumptions held in the organization. A shared vision is the united common goal. Team learning means group sharing of knowledge and systems thinking refers to the understanding of the interdependence of various parts. Essentially, a learning organization seeks to harness the power of groups of individuals to solve complex problems". (Hoe, 2019, pg.56). Our agency is known to have families coming into the centres. It is where newcomers and, families come into a safe space and connect with each other. With Covid, everyone had to figure out how we could still support our families without jeopardizing our health and safety. Zoom was introduced and we had all our staff gaining experience in technology. Staff that have been there for many years now had to learn how to facilitate and host programs online, use the audio, the waiting room etc. It was a difficult time for some but a welcoming learning curve for others. Our agency I can say is a learning organization and even with the ever changing world, they have faced all the challenges, trained staff and is still successful after the pandemic. Foundational frameworks are important to the success of learning organizations!
