Here is a post on this week's discussion that needs a response with a question: Looking at all three methods, the method that I have preferred the most is the mixed method. I prefer the mixed method due to it having both quantitative and qualitative data. I feel as if both sets of data allows for a better understanding of research. For example, in the mixed methods study provided, the "quantitative portion of the study was to assess feasibility of recruiting and engaging a group of African American adults with prediabetes who were willing to enroll in the study and attend intervention, booster, and data collection sessions." (Woods-Giscombe, 2019). In this study, and in other research, qualitative data was and is used to establish credibility. In non-technical language, "Mixing data sets can give a better understanding of the problem and yield more complete evidence" (Emerald Publishing, n.d)
