Objective
You will write a Restaurant Review that critically and objectively evaluates a restaurant operation. Evaluation criteria should include:
- First Impressions.
- Exterior & Interior design, lighting, sound, ambiance, cleanliness.
- Quality of Service. Is there evidence of a Service Culture? Were there any technical service differences from what you may have learned in class?
- Quality of Food evaluate the characteristics of the food as perceived by the five senses appearance, aroma, taste, texture, and consistency.
- Where possible your work should relate to concepts discussed in class.
- Prepare 2 thoughtful, intelligent questions for our guest speaker.
- (Maximum 800 words).
- Make your reservations as per restaurant instructions provided.
- Read the sample reviews posted on BlackBoard and handed out.
- Using the restaurant review checklist as a guideline, write a restaurant review identifying industry trends and other relevant criteria.
- Complete the Survey Monkey right after your restaurant visit. (Mandatory)
