HOW DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE WITH THIS?

How do you deal with criticism in the workplace?

In Chapter 5 in points out many things about leadership and part of the chapter talked about the different types of criticism. The reason I chose this specific category is that I feel people mostly talk about it in a negative light instead of viewing it in ways that it can be helpful. I also found an article that discusses 5 healthy ways to deal with criticism in the workplace. Some of the points that were discussed that resonated with me most were being open, asking questions and sharing feedback. Being open is a huge part in being able to deal with criticism because you can communicate whether if something offended you or what your personal viewpoints may be in a topic of discussion. Asking questions can clarify things more quickly than if you bottle them up and not talk about it. Sharing your feedback is also good because then you know you said exactly what you needed to say, and you can see if your viewpoints will be heard or have action taken with them.
