How to solve $...$in power query $($or excel$)$ i am trying to change the country names to $2$ letter abbreviation and the state names to $2$ letter abbreviation. I have both the state and country lists saved as "connection only" but cannot figure out how to use together?

I also am having an issue with the phone number column as we're supposed to have ###$-$###$-$#### as a format, but mine has $1-$###$-$###$-$####$.$ Hoe can i format it to NOT have the $1$ in front of the phone numbers?
