I am expecting that you will build an appropriate GUI using JavaFX and that you will use programming tools discussed in class or in the text. I also expect that you will be following good programming practices. For example,
commenting your program
use appropriate variable names
no while true, breaks, continues for loops
dont use invalid
the JavaFX GUIs should be pleasing to look at
information and any results on the GUI should be displayed properly
For any files or images, you may use what the text mentions or provide your own. Chapter 14, Programming Challenges 12, Rock, Paper, Scissors Game
Follow the directions for this exercise. In addition, have a way to play again or end the game. Keep track of the number of the wins for the player and the number of wins for the computer. Display the win totals in your GUI while the game is being played.
12. Rock, Paper, Scissors GameWrite a program that lets the user play the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors against the computer. The program should work as follows:
When the program begins, a random number in the range of 0 through 2 is generated. If the number is 0, then the computer has chosen rock. If the number is 1, then the computer has chosen paper. If the number is 2, then the computer has chosen scissors. (Dont display the computers choice yet.)
To make his or her selection, the user clicks an image on the screen. (You can find images for this game included in the books online resources at www.pearsonhighered.com/gaddis.)
The computers choice is displayed.
A winner is selected according to the following rules:
If one player chooses rock and the other player chooses scissors, then rock wins. (The rock smashes the scissors.)
If one player chooses scissors and the other player chooses paper, then scissors wins. (Scissors cuts paper.)
If one player chooses paper and the other player chooses rock, then paper wins. (Paper wraps rock.)
If both players make the same choice, the game is a tie.
