I enjoyed reading your discussion post. I do have a little bit of pushback on your view of Daryl. He was the furthest thing from professional. In fact, he blamed her for his own procrastination. He ignored her and his tone when he finally responded implicated that he was very annoyed. Although he was not disrespectful, $($that is to try to understand when you say polite$)$ he was very rude. I agree with you on him needing to be concise when he speaks. He did not elucidate anything he said or try to make time for the conversation. He simply blamed her and avoided her. How would you respond or feel if Daryl treated you the way he treated his student advisor?
