I need a response to my classmate's discussion post.

"When I am making a high-dollar purchase or purchasing product that has many different brands to choose from, I will read product recommendations. If it is a simple or cheap product that I am not worried about quality, I will just go buy it. Mostly I use WOM. As Iacobucci (2018) says, word-of-mouth is very powerful. I am much more comfortable with WOM from family and friends, than product recommendations online. I have a personal connection to family and friends and I know enough about the individual to know whether or not I should put any weight on what they are saying. Discerning who to believe an who not to when it comes to product recommendations is quite difficult. I find that I will look towards stars and compare product recommendations. If there tend to be a preponderance of certain information, I will gravitate to that information. I do like to read the negative product recommendations. I like to see if there is any value in them or if there are more positive recommendations to outweigh the negative."
