Human Resource Management Project The purpose of this project is to apply your skills and knowledge of the selection and interview processes. Your objective is to design an interview for an entry level position. The questions you design must also pass the legal test and be free of any potential bias or discrimination of the protected grounds within the Human Rights Act. 15% The interview you design will be for the position of Administrative Assistant and will be based on the job description that is attached. Assume that this will be a panel interview made up of four individuals. Your first step will be to identify the selection criteria for this position. Develop a list of musts and wants which will become the critical characteristics for which you will design interview questions. Once you have identified the selection criteria, design interview questions that will enable you and the other panel members to assess the interviewees' competencies. When designing questions, remember the following guidelines: - Use a variety of behavioural, open-ended, situational, job knowledge and job willingness questions. - Avoid close-ended (yeso) and leading questions. - Comply with Human Rights Legislation A final step in designing your interview is determining the optimum response for each question and assigning weights to each question. Defining the best response to each question will assist panel members when thy are rating the responses of interviewees. Remember that not all panel members will be familiar with the position. The weight of each question will determine the importance of each question, recognizing that some selection criteria is more critical than others
