I need to create a Value Stream Map for a cafeteria line - breakfast meal. The issue I see at-hand is improper employee training or shortage of workforce. There are two line servers for main line, and 1 line server for the salad bar. Customers start at register, customer gets drinking cup and utensils, customers goes to front of main line, goes through main line then heads to salad bar. The company has a goal of 9 customers being served per minute.
