I was deployed back in December 2021until last year in response to Russia's invasion on Ukraine. Our presence was to support NATO treaty alliance with the neighboring countries. As Ukraine is not a part of NATO so we wasn't call to arms, but under the NATO treaty we provide a collective security to those that are apart of NATO in that region of the world. While economic performance and prosperity of a nation is not NATO's primary concern the influence or spillover is deeply impacted on the political and economic stability. The unspoken rule of law, is that NATO countries improves the framework of the economy whether it is domestic or international businesses and also strives off the liberal and marketization of a country's economy. In doing so, it alleviates the social pressure, while increasing prosperity and wealth accumulations. Additionally, under such economic, political and legal framework a country can potentially shift from local isolation to broader economy growth worldwide. In conclusion, NATO not only provide security and stability it also provides greater opportunities for economic growth and fosters an environment for innovation and entrepreneurship in an economy.
