Your Research Paper will be on the sub-unit. The paper is to explain how the organization began, history of the organization, when and/or how it turned into an organized crime unit, hierarchy of the organization and where it stands now. Then, from a law enforcement viewpoint, you are going to devise how you would infiltrate the organization and try to "take it down". Use examples and facts that are realistic. To conclude you are to evaluate if your measures to infiltrate and "take down" the organization would or would not have worked. Explain why or why not. The instructor must approve the topic prior.
