ICT308 IT Project 2 Assessment 2 Iteration 2 Product Backend Development and Testing Documentation (25%) Component A Backend Development Part 1: Members contribution in the backend development Iteration 2 is the final project iteration and will be followed by the project closure and product handover to the client. During iteration 2, our team has been working on a database management system by configuring a database for all user inputs on the website to automatically organize, store, access, and filter every type of data that can be tracked about a business's customers, products, and services by the collection of structured data is stored electronically based on the entity-relationship diagram. Also to develop authentication to secure data and systems by requiring additional input beyond the user's username and password for access to a system the project has come to an end, to improve the website in terms of page speed and mobile responsiveness by updating standard images and videos, adding information prominently, making sure it has a call to action and updating the layout views to further improve the user interface for the website, etc. A content management system is developed, i.e., an admin panel for managing the contents of the website. Alongside the coding, and running unit tests for new features, as the project has come to an end, the developer team will be running an integrated test where software modules are integrated logically and tested as a group, such that the quality of the website is assured and validated if the new features are working when integrated with Iteration 1. Summary of tasks and contribution by all three team members. Member 1 (33%) I was assigned to do documentation part for Iteration 2. I have done brief description about what we are doing in iteration 2 along with all team members efforts to complete our project. I have done testing documentation and user stories for iteration 2. Under testing documentation not only acceptance testing we are required to do some extra testing like usability testing for our project. Member 2 (33%) I was assigned to do some of the user story for iteration 2. Basically I have done all the coding parts. As well as I completed source code for iteration 2 as he is a developer and finished setting up database for customer feedback and worked on testing documentation. Member 3 (33%) I was assigned to do work in coding and help member 2 in javascript for our project. I have also equally taking part in coding and developing the tab buttons for the project. I have created login/signup button for project. In addition, I also helped to do testing documentation. Part 2:Business user stories to be included in your project The business rule shows the management system of the restaurant. This will organise the strong morale among the staff, meets the needs of the customer, which will help in a positive outcome for the Restaurant. Toscanini Italian Restaurant does have some sets of business rules on how the online system will be utilized by the staff/owner and customers. User and Admin will be Customer/staff and Developer/Owner. Customer/Staff The User should have to create an account. The user can do online food ordering, the order has to go through the system once the credit card/debit card or online payment has been valid. The user will be able to customize the orders. The user won't be able to make a cash payment in online ordering. The cash payment has to be done in-store ordering only. Admin As Admin, they have all the authority and will be able to make the changes in the menu. The Owner can change and update the availability of items. Part 3:Plug-ins and templates your team used The purpose of this part is to guide future developers who may be selected by the client instead of the current ones. In addition to the attributes used in developing the site, the host and domain details are provided, along with details of the theme used and the plugins used.
